What the Shrine Offers
If you or a loved one has been diagnosed with cancer, we invite you to become part of our prayer ministry at the St. Peregrine Cancer Shrine. Your prayer petition can be lifted up by those who visit the Shrine, as well as by our dedicated adorers and students, creating a community of prayer and support surrounding those facing cancer.
No one should face cancer alone. Through the intercession of St. Peregrine, we unite our prayers in faith, hope, and love for all those affected by cancer.
Prayer Shawls
Prayer shawls and lap blankets are lovingly crafted by volunteers and blessed by a priest or deacon. Through the intercession of St. Peregrine, each is touched to his First-Class Relic and offered as a Third-Class Relic—a gift of comfort, prayer, and hope. Prayer packets with a blessed Rosary, Brown Scapular, and prayer information are also available. All gifts are offered at no cost, with one gift per person.
Prayer Cards
Each prayer card is placed on the Shrine’s Prayer Wall, inviting visitors to offer prayers, love, and encouragement for those facing cancer. Over 28 days, volunteers collect and mail these messages to the recipient as a reminder that they are surrounded by prayer.
Submit a Prayer Request
We invite you to submit a prayer request to the St. Peregrine Cancer Ministry. Please obtain the recipient’s permission before registering them with our ministry.
When completing the form, please provide the recipient’s first and last name, complete mailing address, contact email, your name and relationship to the recipient, the type of cancer they are facing, and a brief biography to help guide those who will be praying for them.
